PRIOR GOVERNMENTAL EXPERIENCE: The only experience I have with government is the suffering we experience together because of the actions of those in government who ignore our basic needs and laws.

My name is Christopher Rich. I have lived in Oregon, after leaving Seattle, since 1986. I have lived in Portland since 1991.

In 1995, I became active in the advertising industry, multi-media production, commercial property management that caters to Portland's creative community and community activism spanning many different issues including, but not limited to, voter registration; cannabis reform; police brutality; ethnic discrimination and government corruption. My firm belief and obedience to our United States & Oregon Constitution(s), as well as divine providence, have helped me to ensure equity and resolve for the Citizens I have been able to serve in our community, and a challenge to those in positions of authority whose actions bring harm to our society's potential.

If you elect me as your mayor, I will make sure that your basic structure and needs within the City are well taken care of. I will also execute the duties of mayor by exercising a careful supervision over the general affairs of the city and using the authority granted the office under Article IV, Section 2-403 to investigate and hold accountable the official acts and conduct of any official or employee of the City that is not acting in your best interest.

Our Declaration of Independence states - “All experience has shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed”
