Served as Chairman three times; Appointments: Governor's Task Force on Funding Sub-Committee; State Advisory Committee for Special Education; Multnomah County Board of Ratio Review; Multnomah County Charter Review Committee. Served on:The Oregon School Boards Association Board and Legislative Committee and the Oregon Association of Education Service Districts Executive Committee.
