Election Information

  • Election Calendar
    • July 15, 2010 - 1st date for Interlachen & Rockwood P.U.D. candidates to file with Multnomah Co. Elections.
    • Aug. 24, 2010 - Filing Deadline for P.U.D. Candidates.
    • August 26, 2010 - Voters' Pamphlet filing Deadline for County, Metro and PUD Candidates.
    • Sept. 2, 2010 - Deadline for certified list of city candidates from cities. Also, deadline for Local Governing bodies to file measure & explanatory statement .
    • Sept. 7, 2010 - Deadline for City & S.W.C.D. Candidate Statements in County Voters' Pamphlet. Also, deadline for Measure Arguments in County Voters' Pamphlet.
    • Sept. 17, 2010 - Military/Overseas ballots mailed.
    • Sept. 20, 2010 - Ballots available in Elections office.
    • Oct 6-8, 2010 - Secretary of State mails Voters' Pamphlet to households.
    • Oct. 12, 2010 - Voter Registration Deadline.
    • Oct. 15, 2010 - Ballots mailed.
    • Nov. 2, 2010 - General Election Day
    • Nov. 22, 2010 - Last day for county clerk to certify election results. Official results & abstracts (results by precinct) available.
    • Dec. 2, 2010 - Last day for Oregon Secretary of State to certify statewide election results.
  • Political Signs
    The size and placement of political signs does not come under election law. The jurisdiction where signs are placed controls who you call to ask about sign regulations.
